B. Hamilton's first record "Everything I Own is Broken" is a snapshot of their stupid corner of Oakland, California at the end of the 2000's. A place where the deserted warehouses of America's Industrial heyday housed underground alcohol parties. and Silicon Valley's money was at the gates ready to ruin everything.

The record is the first to feature the power trio format that stands to this day on songs like album opener "Me and Margaret Counting Countdowns," as well as intimate bedroom recordings like "Oakland and Anaheim (Ain't Divided By the 5 Tonight)" which details two acts of police killings in two very different parts of California.
